17-year-old Kai is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife, Vanessa.

He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren’t looking. He always wants to know how we are at school. When I made it to the high honor roll, he told his friends how proud he was of me.

He calls me in the middle of school and asks how golf class is going and tells me about his, but then I have to remind him that I’m at school and I have to call him later. It encourages me to be as successful as I can be. I was shocked to hear that he had been shot and I just wanted to know if he was okay. Many people have put my grandfather through hell and he is still standing. You are an inspiration and I love you.
